2014 Harvest Update

We’ve been busy last few weeks. Busy crushing, that is.

It is looking like we will double our production this year, thanks to a plentiful harvest (and more importantly great relationships with our growers in Yakima).

We have already picked up the Semillon, Moudvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault and we are waiting on the Syrah and Cabernet. Yes, Cabernet.

We were lucky enough to score Cabernet grapes from a very sought-after vineyard and we are going to do our best to do it justice.

While a lot of the fruit will be available as Locus Wines in 2015, don’t hold your breath tasting the Syrah or the Cabernet anytime soon. It looks like the Cabernet will be in barrels for at least 18 to 24 months, before spending a lot of quality time in bottles. So mark your calendars for end of 2016, or Spring 2017.
